COMMON MISTAKES PEOPLE MAKE IN ENGLISH

Assalamualaikum (Peace be with you)
How you doing? ---> Joey's accent (FRIENDS TV SERIES, played by Matt LeBlanc) --> Common mistake. It is supposed to be How are you doing.

Well morning fellows.

I have been doing this whole translation thing-y since five this morning. Kei is still asleep. She woke up for a while but then I instantly went to her to make sure she went to bed again because i am afraid i wouldnt be able to continue working when she's awake. She always wants to type when she sees me browse the internet :)

Thank goodness we have google and spelling checkers now.

What would we do without them?
I make mistakes. I admit it. and it itches when I realize it. I always fear someone else will find it out before I manage to correct it. and kind of embarasses me.
The thing is, I have not been conversing (orally) in English for probably nearly 3 months now. We all know what eventually happens if a language isn't used? it dies. Yep, i am so frustrated now. It is so much different when you write and when you speak a language. you hear yourseld pronunciate the words you directly think of which grammar form to be used. but when you write it doesnt really matter. since we have the spelling checker :) we can still go and edit our document in the end.

I have noticed this type of error a lot of times. Concentrate on the word "People". People is the plural form is person, so it needn't any ending -s anymore. Same with children, they can never be used as peoples or childrens unless we're talking about possessions, such as the children's books are left in the class or politicians don't really give a damn about small people's lives.

As for the second image, normally when it is spoken it has no error. When it is written like this, i am sure anyone would be able to tell it. "Their" is supposed to be "they're" as a contracted form of they're. Their is used to talk about possessions or belongings. :)

Beird? honestly I have no clue of what it is. But to be sure, it is spelled "BEARD". There must have been an instant drowsiness happening to this man while he was posting his status. hahha. No big deal on facebook. It'll be one when it is a part of your paper at school :]

Seriously, "on this area" ? "In this area" is much better and more correct. :] It is called the prepositions of place. here's why

Ahahaha seems like his girlfriend is scolding him for grammar errors. Firstly, TELLED does not exist. Tell has a Past form of TOLD. since it must have happened in the past then we need to use simple past verbs (to be sure, use the method of parallelism -> heard, failed.
There are two kinds of simple past verbs in English; the regular ones and the irregular ones. TELL/TOLD belong to the latter. this is a list of irregular verbs

Second mistake, DISPOSSIBLE. I am positive what he is trying to say is NOT POSSIBLE. To be using a Prefix with the word Possible, the Prefix IM is most appropriate. IMPOSSIBLE. that's it.

The Word TOMORROW. Many mistake its spelling, whether to put double M or double R.

ouch this kind of error hurts more
:p

Sheet not Shit. We cover our beds with bedsheets. Puppies cover our beds with their shits. hahaha.

Now I am confused if this guy actually wanted to put the word handsome or awesome or a combination of both.

Here are the errors seen on TV or read on paper.

Destroyed. Too bad the paper was already out to public. Just heartbreaking.

This one made by a News Channel MetroTV years ago. When Osama bin Laden was found dead, here was how the caption of the news like.

it was Osama who was found dead. Poor news anchor.

Nobody's perfect. I am one of them. We'll just have to learn and learn :]
Wish you all a great day, stay healthy and happy...
